The inspiration for this website was born out of personal experience. In 2001 I lost my job and along with that my health insurance. At 54 years of age and trying to get insured at a rate I could afford was impossible. Also my wife was a 20 year Cancer Survivor but that made us as a couple uninsurable. Anyway I needed a plan and a strategy for how I would stay healthy. Also I observed others who had health insurance succumb to heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, cancer and everything else.

At that point I decided that I needed to learn more about health and specifically how I could take responsibility for my own health. The one constant I observed about the medical system was that once a person became involved and went in, They rarely if ever came out. It seemed like they entered what I call a Medical Maze. That made me very dubious and suspicious.

I began to research alternative health methodologies and found that at the very least, much more information was made available about nutrition, drugs, food, the environment, and diseases. I formulated my first philosophy and that is "Avoid the Medical Maze at all cost".

Well today at 60 I'm healthy and I feel great and look forward to many more years of good health and a quality of life that many unfortunately won't have. It can be different for you however, because you found a community of folks who also have a desire for vibrant life and don't just accept the conventional thinking that only drugs can cure disease, and there is nothing to do but wait for the next medical problem.

So  the mission of this site is to inform, teach, empower and inspire those who believe in their hearts, that there is much good information being withheld in the name of conventional thinking and big profits.

By the way, I'm not medically trained in any way. I'm just a guy who figured some things out with the help of a lot research and a little common sense. To those who would say that I'm just giving my opinion, I say, They are right. But in your heart certain things just ring true, while others do not.

Just remember, one ounce of prevention is worth a lot more than a pound of cure.
